Our client is a highly regarded SME, with a very specialist range of Rehab / Mobility equipment which they sell throughout Ireland. They’ve been experiencing year on year growth for many years and are now looking to expand with the addition of another Product Specialist covering the Western area.
About the Role
The role involves becoming a ‘Go To’ Product Specialist with an-depth knowledge of the product range and the clinical needs for which they can assist. The role is focused on selling mobility and rehab equipment, working with clinicians and clients in a consultative, professional manner.
Obviously, confidential enquiries are welcome from those already in the Rehab / Mobility sector in a similar role who wish to upskill and become even more skilled and knowledgeable. However, those with the right transferable skillset and a track record in sales are also very welcome.
The role requires excellent people skills, a level of hands-on mechanical understanding (such as wheelchair adjustment and set-up), dealing with disabled and elderly clients in a respectful, helpful and professional manner as well as being able to work alongside clinical professionals. To be successful, the ability to build long term professional and trusting relationships with clinicians is a prerequisite.
Other essential requirements include a business-to-business field sales background. Sorry but retail, online or telephone sales won’t be accepted as suitable background. The requirement is a hands-on face to face track record visiting customers. You must also be able to demonstrates a structured, disciplined approach to work and time management. Computer literacy and a full Irish / EU driving licence are needed.
A company vehicle (van) is provided as this is a hands-on role with demonstration equipment. A genuinely good basic salary (to suit the candidate’s experience and skills) is provided and an excellent commission structure that sees current colleagues boosting their earnings significantly.
