Our client is a name that everyone in Medical Device Manufacturing knows. Due to growth and expansion, they now have a vacancy for an account manager to deal with existing clients as well as focus on new business acquisition. The role is remote or can be hybrid with offices in Dublin and Galway areas and will involve some travel / visiting clients in Ireland and internationally.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess experience and knowledge in the medical devices sector with insights on MDR and regulatory affairs. Add this, a track record of successful account management, business development and the ability to deal with a wide variety of high-level clients and accounts.
The role will focus on ensuring all existing dealings with current clients and their expectations are handled and managed effectively. Additionally, market conditions driven by MDR over the last few years have led to an opportunity for new client acquisition. Hence the role needs a highly organised, self-motivated, and commercially astute individual that can work autonomously and collaboratively with numerous colleagues. Ultimately, this collaboration as part of a bigger team is to ensure that clients are getting the services they need in a timely and effective manner as well as finding and gaining new clients.
Applications are invited from people who can evidence a track record that confirms the requisite skills and knowledge for such a role, as well as personal characteristics that include ‘walk in the room credibility’, a high level of professionalism and a desire to work for a highly respected organisation dealing with many of the industries leading medical device manufacturers.
The client is an excellent employer, and a suitably significant remuneration will be awarded to the successful candidate, based upon their knowledge and experience gained in their career to date. Combined with remote or hybrid working, some travel and great work flexibility, this will suit a high calibre professional that probably lives in Ireland or in a UK location that is conveniently situated for international travel.
