Our client is the Irish Division of a well-known multinational manufacturer. They’re an industry name with an excellent reputation and products that are used in hospitals and community care through-out the island of Ireland.
They currently have a vacancy for an installation engineer in the Greater Dublin / Leinster region with some travel to other areas across the country. They are looking for someone that is comfortable with a role that is a mixture of manual / technical work. Someone comfortable with power tools for drilling and cutting. The equipment to be installed is predominantly electro-mechanical.
This is a customer-faced role and therefore an ability to deal with a variety of customers and present the right professional image is also an essential element.
The role is part of a team, but with a geographic focus based throughout Leinster and with travel to other regions. There’s a structured 37.5-hour Monday to Friday working week based on leave / return home time, with the opportunity of significant overtime. All time over the set hours is qualified as overtime.
This role will suit someone with transferable skillsets and a desire to move into the medical sector, working for a renowned manufacturer. They’re a good employer, train and treat their staff well. Big enough to provide career progression and small enough that there’s a genuinely good team spirit.
