Our client is a well-respected and growing niche SME that provides healthcare equipment throughout Ireland. Their reputation with products that are used in community care and healthcare facilities is a strong influence on their continued growth. That reputation is built on quality products and good back up service by their team.
They currently have a vacancy in the Greater Dublin area, with a remuneration package tailored to suit the level of experience of the successful candidate. They are looking for someone with experience of field service work as a technician or Service Engineer. The work involves visiting customer premises through-out the area, servicing, fault finding and repairing equipment. Candidates can be from any sector, providing they are technically competent with equipment, which is predominantly electro-mechanical, with an emphasis on controllers, actuators, motors and electrical.
This is a customer facing role which includes private homes and therefore an ability to deal with a variety of customers and present the right professional image at all times is an essential element. Attitude is just as important as technical ability. Background / Garda checks can be expected.
The role is part of a team with other technicians / engineers based in strategic geographic locations and will have a focus on the Greater Dublin and surrounding areas. With a structured Monday to Friday working week, this also ensures a good work / life balance.
This role will suit someone with transferable skillsets and is open to those with a desire to move into the healthcare / medical sector, working for a respected supplier. They’re a good employer, train and treat their staff well.
