Our client is a well-known multinational manufacturer. They’re an industry name with an excellent reputation with products that are used in hospitals and community care throughout the island of Ireland.
They currently have a vacancy in the Galway to Limerick area, with occasional travel to other areas across the country. They are looking for a Service Engineer who is technically competent and has some experience with equipment which is predominantly electro-mechanical. This role will involve a range of service work including installation, servicing, fault finding and preventative maintenance.
This is a customer-facing role and therefore an ability to deal with a variety of customers and present the right professional image is also an essential element.
The role is part of a team, but with a geographic focus based around the location lived in. Ideally, a candidate in the Galway – Clare – Limerick area, but open to candidates in other areas of Munster or Connacht. With a structured 37.5-hour Monday to Friday working week with the opportunity of paid overtime. All time over the set hours is qualified as overtime.
This role will suit someone with transferable skillsets and a desire to move into the medical sector, working for a renowned manufacturer. They’re a good employer, train and treat their staff well. Big enough to provide career progression and small enough that there’s a genuinely good team spirit.
