Our client is a good company to work for. They’re a successful, busy and growing SME in the Medical Products, Community Care, Patient Handling, Rebab and Mobility sector. They’re well established and trade across All-Ireland. Due to growing demand and success, they’re expanding. The product range is varied, extensive and includes exclusivity of brands renowned for their quality and value.

To help accelerate this growing demand, they’re looking for a Product Specialist that can meet with healthcare professionals and clients, conduct product demonstrations and assessments. The object is to increase sales and develop the significant existing business. They are open to a newcomer to the sector providing that you have the necessary transferable skills, attitude and ethics.

It is envisaged that this will be a career move for someone keen to develop a career in the sector across the Munster Area. It can be described as an autonomous role that will be given the full backing and support of a highly experienced team from a key supplier to the market. Hence it suits a person who is self-motivated and structured in their approach. A person who wants to become a ‘Go To’ professional.

The role requires a combination skillset. Active in developing new business but with soft, consultative selling skills. Someone able to work with a variety of clients and end-users, as well as clinical professionals in nursing homes and community care. Ultimately, to become a trusted, professional Product Specialist and Assessor. To be successful, your personal characteristics will include professionalism, walk in the room credibility, self-motivation, and a considered, structured commercial astuteness. Enthusiasm and an energetic demeanor will also be key.

In return, the successful applicant will gain a good basic salary and a highly rewarding, open-ended commission structure that should see it add circa €20k in additional earnings. Additionally, their daily allowances are market leading. Other benefits are also on the table to ensure this is a very good remuneration package that attracts and retains the right person.
