Our Client is a world-leading multi-national. They manufacture and provide various ranges of mobility and rehab equipment and are a market leader. This role is working for their UK Division which has a very low staff turnover and is to lead a team of sales product specialists on a regional basis in Northern England and Wales.
The successful candidate will already have several years of successful sales experience in the Rehab sector, dealing with clients / end users and clinicians. This role will require the successful candidate to lead, mentor, coach and manage a team of seven.
Strong business acumen and the ability to analyse, guide and assist their team, their business focus, client assessments, product demonstrations, customer relations, time management and organisation are all skills that are needed. In short, someone who can lead their team and step in whenever required.
This combined with a deep understanding of the products and how they impact and enhance client lives is essential. This is a consultative business manager role where empathy, ethics and a desire to improve lives all combine with hands-on experience to get the best results for all stakeholders.
Familiarity with NHS procurement and charitable organisations, together with frameworks and tenders is also important but contract negotiations are via a head-office team.
In addition to the above, a robust set of personal characteristics, motivations and soft skills with a proven track record are required. From business development to clinician training, and event promotion, you will need to evidence strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills that have helped you gain a good reputation and deliver consistent business performance.
