Our client is an excellent employer. They’re a successful, busy and growing SME in the Medical Products sector. They’re well established, have different divisions and trade across Ireland, enjoying a very low staff turnover. Due to growing demand and success; they’re expanding their field sales team with a focus on hospitals.
 
To help accelerate this growth, they’re looking for a team leader / Field Sales Manager that can lead by example, manage, motivate and mentor a team that is planned to grow. This person can be based throughout Ireland providing they have good access to the major roads network.
 
The demands of this role include a need for experience and insight into hospital sales, contracts and tenders to public, voluntary and private hospitals. Contacts, connections and insights would expedite success. It is a hands-on role where the need to lead by example is imperative. Hence, a track record of strong performance will be needed. People management and leadership will need to be evidenced as part of the application process which will be thorough to ensure we present our client with a short-list of strong candidates.
 
The role requires a combination skillset. Active in developing existing major accounts as well as new business, familiar with the tendering / contract process and with strong people management and mentoring skills. Someone able to work with a variety of stakeholders and lead an experienced team.
 
Ultimately, this is a role or someone who can show they know and understand what needs to be done, how to do it, what resources and staff development is needed and what results can be achieved in return over a realistic time frame.
