Our client is a multi-national with an excellent reputation as a market-leading international manufacturer of equipment used in the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Bio-Pharma / Medical Research and Hospital sectors. They’re busy and expanding. Hence, they currently have an excellent opportunity for a high-calibre salesperson with a proven track record who wants to proudly work for a renowned employer in the life-sciences sector.
The role is focused on long-term consultative selling of high-value capital equipment and ongoing consumables supply. There’s an existing high-value client base which requires account management as well as ongoing development and there’s a sea of opportunities for new business gains.
Whilst being part of a very successful and busy team, the role is an autonomous one. It is suited to someone highly organised, structured, self-motivated and able to converse comfortably and persuasively on technical matters with industry experts. Ultimately, the successful candidate will become a subject matter expert on the product ranges and applications. Hence this requires an ability to learn and understand technical processes and equipment.
To be considered, candidates must have a successful track record of consultative selling of capital equipment of a technical nature. The personal attributes and characteristics are what one should expect for such an important role. From exceptional communication skills to commercial insightfulness, tenacity, intellect and self-motivation, through to ‘walk in the room’ professional credibility.
The remuneration package includes a basic salary of up to £58k and a substantial motivating level of commission /bonus with £30k being a realistic expectation (based on others/colleague’s actual earnings). Other benefits are notable with this excellent employer.
